Olayiwola Adetu with Pa Labinjo OLAYIWOLA  ADETU is DEAD Honourable Olayiwola Waheed Adetu is dead, he died at the age of 85 years old after complaining of weaknesses and was taken to an hospital in Sagamu, where he died on arrival. 'layiwola as fondly called by my Late father, Aaree Afolabi Adetu is a man of peace. He was a councillor in 1976 under ijebu Remo Local government. He left for london in 1965 and lived in London for 10 years, no wonder he was known as Olayiwola Adetu of London, a party in London in those days is not complete without him and his friends not being around. I was told he went to London in the same plane with Otunba Adebayo (kal and Kay insurance), this was confirmed to me by otunba himself. When he returned to Nigeria he became highly connected to the extent that, there is no office he does not know somebody. Between 1979-83 him and Uncle Alayo was a stunch supporter of NPN, at the tail end of 2nd republic his house and that of iya Eleba was marked burning.
